Swansea Grand Theatre – Fairytale of New York

From the producers of the hit show Seven Drunken Nights – The Story of The Dubliners, Fairytale of New York is the ultimate feel good Irish -inspired Christmas show.

Featuring an international cast of singers, musicians and dancers Fairytale of New York brings you all of your favourite Christmas songs including Driving home for Christmas, White Christmas, Oh Holy Night, Winter’s Tale, Silent Night and of course The Fairytale of New York.

……and just when you think the party couldn’t get any better, this world class show also features some of the greatest Irish sing-a-long songs of all time including The Galway Girl, The Irish Rover, Wagon Wheel, Danny Boy, Dirty Old Town and The Black Velvet Band this magical Irish-inspired Christmas show will have people of all ages singing, laughing and dancing in the aisles.

Savoy Theatre – Treasure Island

Heave ho me hearties!! The Savoy panto this year takes to the seven seas in search of pieces of eight. But never fear the usual ingredients will be ever present. They’ve got a hero, a dame and a pesky pirate. Plenty of fun too. So join them for the best panto the county has to offer.

Ah! Jim lad. They be having a rollicking panto this year at the Savoy. Across the seven seas they go to find pieces of eight and they’ll all be at sixes and sevens. All the usual panto ingredients including a hero, the dame and of course the odd pirate. And theirs will definitely be odd. Bring all the family to see the fun.

Grand Pavilion Porthcawl – Jack and the Beanstalk

Join them at The Grand Pavilion for a GIANT of a panto with the fabulous festive adventure Jack and the Beanstalk.

The Trotts are so poor they don’t have a bean to their name and what’s more, there’s an evil and greedy giant terrifying the village. Will they really have to sell Daisy, the family cow just to survive?

See if Jack can defeat the giant, win the heart of the girl he loves and turn the Trotts’ fortunes around. Once again, The Grand Pavilion will have all the ingredients for a perfect family panto; with a dastardly villain, a hapless comic and a hilarious panto dame, as well as fabulous musical numbers and bags of slapstick fun!

New Theatre Cardiff – Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Mirror, mirror, on the wall, don’t miss the fairest pantomime of them all!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be spectacularly brought to life with an abundance of comedy, sensational song and dance numbers, fabulous costumes and stunning scenery. Throw in a magical mirror, seven friendly dwarfs, a beautiful princess, a handsome prince and plenty of audience participation and you have the perfect recipe to outwit the Wicked Queen and let love prevail in this glittering festive treat for all ages.

Ian ‘H’ Watkins from international pop group Steps will lead the cast in this year’s magical family pantomime as The Man In The Mirror, and will be joined by New Theatre pantomime favourites, rugby legend Gareth Thomas and panto Dame extraordinaire Mike Doyle, who return after a triumphant season last Christmas appearing in Aladdin. The line-up also includes Coronation Street and Emmerdale star Siân Reeves, and comedy ventriloquist, BGT finalist Steve Hewlett

About the Show

Prohibition era, New York. A city full of mobsters, showgirls and dreamers. Rival gangster bosses Fat Sam and Dandy Dan are at loggerheads. The custard pies are flying and Dandy Dan’s gang has gotten the upper hand since obtaining the new-fangled “splurge” gun. Now, Fat Sam and his bumbling buffoons are in real trouble!

Enter Bugsy Malone, a penniless one-time boxer and all-round nice guy. All Bugsy really wants to do is spend time with his new love, Blousey, but will he be able to resist seductive songstress Tallulah and stay out of trouble long enough to help Fat Sam to defend his business?
