Located on the South Coast of Wales, Swansea is a county teeming with life and culture, it is the 2nd largest city in Wales. Known for its beautiful seaside views and landscapes such as Swansea Bay. The city is also home to The National Waterfront Museum which tells the story of innovation within the industry in Wales, detailing back 300 years. Also found in Swansea is the Oystermouth Castle, dating back to the 12th Century, this Norman castle is one of the 12th-century castles across the UK that is in slightly better condition. A slightly more modern attraction is the Mumbles Pier, built in 1898 it can be found in the Northern corner of Swansea Bay close to Mumbles village. It was once a station for the world-renowned Mumbles railway, to this day is still home to the RNLI who have saved over 800 lives from Mumbles alone it is a popular seaside attraction for families all over the UK.
