An oasis outskirting Cardiff, Dyffryn Gardens is made up of more than 55 acres of beautiful Edwardian gardens and Victorian Archtitecture, the entire estate actually dates back to the 7th century. These gardens also feature the best woody collection in the National Trust.

Dryffryn Gardens offers a multitude of garden rooms to visit from Pompeiian garden, Paved Court, Reflecting Pool to the Mediterranean garden. The Gardens are surrounded by seasonal flower beds bursting with vibrant colours.

The gardens feature a massive glasshouse, statuary collection, and arboretum featuring trees from all over the world as well as a Log Stack Play area fantastic for both children and adults.

Within the gardens, Dyffryn House, a grand Victorian mansion reigns over the gardens combining with the vibrancy of the garden to create a multi-historical estate.

After you’ve finished exploring the 55 acres of land the estate sits on, out your feet up at the estates own cafe, grab a quick snack and coffee for your journey back or sit down and have a scrumptious sandwich. Also make sure to
visit the Dyffryn shop on your way out.

If you genuinly can’t wait to go to the gardens, the head gardener regulary updates their blog with happenings at Dyffryn.
