Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway – Vintage Weekend

Step back in time at the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway’s Vintage Weekend! Enjoy classic steam trains, vintage vehicles, and a nostalgic atmosphere perfect for family fun and history buffs alike. The Vintage Weekend will be recreating two vintage periods, Great Western & Austrian Trains. There will be two trains in operation over the weekend recreating historic scenes. The First Train is the W&LLR 1920s Great Western Heritage Train – Original 1902 built locomotive ‘The Earl’ and the 1930s Austrian Vintage Train.(LOCOMOTIVE UPDATE – Due to an issue with visiting locomotive ‘Zillertal’, this train will now be hauled by the resident Taiwanese Diesel No.17 ‘The Diema’)
