WNO Orchestra is thrilled to be back on stage, performing its dazzlingly successful and well-travelled new year’s performance. Under the baton of Leader and Concertmaster David Adams, the Orchestra, accompanied by WNO Associate Artists Isabelle Peters and Adam Gilbert, will ring in the new year with a spirited programme featuring waltzes, polkas, and maybe a few surprises.
Join them for an evening of Strauss, Lehár, and Korngold, beginning with selections from Johann Strauss II’s famous Die Zigeunerbaron (The Gypsy Baron), and including his Blue Danube Waltz and Strauss senior’s Radetzky March. What better way to begin a new year?
