Part of the Hadrian’s Wall UNESCO World Heritage Site. With a large interactive museum, a section of Wall and a 35 metre high viewing tower providing outstanding views across Tyneside there is also a changing programme of exhibitions. There is also a seasonal programme of events including historical re-enactments with gladiators and artisans, to regular events for families during school holidays. Kids under 16 always go free.
The Llangwml Literary Festival
The 5th Llangwm Literary Festival takes place in this beautiful village in Pembrokeshire. There will be creative writing, art workshops for children and adults and a variety of themes, including the Ballads of the Rugby Club.
