Bala Lake Railway: August Steam Gala

Bala Lake Railway’s entire home fleet of engines (subject to availability) will be taking part in the steam gala along with a visiting locomotive. They will also be running some freight services between Llanuwchlyn and Llangower using slate wagons from the extensive historic collection. At Llangower, there will be an undertaking of a special shunting manoeuvre to allow two passengers trains to pass while the freight is also at the station.
