What You Can Expect to See
You can expect to see large numbers of Puffins as well as Guillemots, Razorbills and Kittiwakes. Also many other resident birds, such as Oystercatchers, Shags and Cormorants, as well as the rare Chough and Peregrine falcon.
Year-round you will be fortunate to enjoy the company of the Atlantic Grey seal; whilst they mostly frequent the shores of Ramsey Island, they also can be seen in the harbour at Skomer and along the coastline there too. The trips also regularly encounter a pod of Harbour porpoise as they feed in the tidal waters of the Sound and occasionally treated to sightings of Common dolphins.
