Rhuddlan Nature reserve is made up of several parks, trails and lakes that are all open for the public to experience for free!
Loggerhead Riverside Trail
The River Alyn flows through Loggerheads Country Park, and the Loggerheads Riverside Trail is an all-ability circular trail that crisscrosses it. The course is 1 kilometre (12 miles) long and should take 20–30 minutes to complete.
Moel Famau Country Park
In the popular Moel Famau Country Park, a calm circular route may be conducted around several of the lower paths. The Forestry Commission and the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty collaborate to manage this famous visitor destination, which attracts tens of thousands of people each year.
Marine Lake
Marine Lake was built as a Victorian pleasure fair with water slides and merry-go-rounds in 1895 when it was turned from marshland. A small train surrounding the lake debuted in 1911. The Rhyl Steam Preservation Trust presently manages it. The location is now a nature sanctuary, and the paved road around the lake may be walked for 1.5 kilometres.
