Cadnant Plas Hidden Gardens has been restored to its former grandeur after undergoing a stunning renovation. The gardens, which were first laid out in 1804 in the ‘picturesque’ style of famed Victorian landscape designer Humphrey Repton, had become abandoned by 1996. There are ten acres of gardens, including a two-acre Walled Garden, beautiful valley gardens full of rare and intriguing plants, flowering shrubs and trees, as well as a river and waterfalls. Not to mention the home-baked cakes served in the old-fashioned Tea Room. There’s also a Visitor Center where you can learn about the gardens’ history and restoration.
