The last ancestral home of the Macdonalds of Sleat, this magnificent highland estate in south Skye is now operated by the Clan Donald Lands Trust. Visitors can explore 40 acres of historic gardens and woodland walks around the romantic ruins of Armadale Castle, and enjoy stunning views across the Sound of Sleat to the mountains of Knoydart.
Mid Wales Alpacas – Trekking
Your Visit begins with a quick health and safety chat and guidance in holding and leading your alpaca. Mid Wales Alpacas will also discuss the lifestyle of an alpaca, providing fascinating facts on what makes alpacas so unique, calming and loveable, and will try to answer any questions you may have. They will then introduce you to your alpaca, where you will be able to get to know them and take pictures if you wish. The Main trek provides a relaxing trek through the wonderful rural setting accompanied by the friendly and lovable alpacas.
