For almost a century, Devil’s Bridge has been a popular tourist destination. Before the upper bridge was completed, writers like George Borrow came here and wrote of its raw beauty. The community is modest, yet it has a lot of character. The Three Bridges, which are erected one on top of the other, are the primary attraction. There are no other bridges like it in the world, and it is well worth visiting.
If you want to take the Vale of Rheidol Steam Railway from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge, the station is a 4-minute walk from the Waterfalls — turn left when leaving the station car park and walk straight through the Hafod Hotel to the entry kiosk. Please note that the train departs 1 hour after your arrival, giving you plenty of time to walk the Nature Trail or go for a short stroll and then have a cup of tea! Please keep in mind that the railway is a distinct attraction from Devil’s Bridge Falls.
