Blue Lagoon is a place where carefree summers and cold winter nights come alive with breathtaking rides, rapid rivers and flumes, relaxing pools and special places just for kids. It‘s a fun-filled waterpark that guarantees thrilling aqua adventures.
The main feature of Blue Lagoon is the wave pool, with six different wave patterns breaking onto a gently sloping beach. Eight water geysers bubble away near the beach, while a water cannon and two-finger sprays propel arcs of water into the pool. There’s also a wave seat, on which to just sit and feel the waves crashing past. The slow, flowing water of the lazy river ride takes you on a meandering journey outside Blue Lagoon to the south-facing patio, accessing the outdoor bubble pool – complete with bubble seat – and relaxing outdoor spa pool. Three beach water geysers in the floor of the lazy river create a fun, bubbling effect and two large water cannons give you an extra splash as you drift your way around. The outdoor spa is equipped with ten powerful hydro jets to relax your muscles and help you unwind, and is particularly suited to older children and adults. Indeed, you must be over 12 to use it. There’s another spa pool inside, again with 10 powerful hydro jets, and again, it is only suitable for guests 16 years old and over.
No trip to Blue Lagoon would be complete without a zoom down the flume, and there are four to choose from… The Falls is an open flume that takes two riders outside Blue Lagoon to two large relaxation pools. The flume then re-enters Blue Lagoon and fires the riders out into a plunge pool. Two enclosed flumes, The Cannon and The Cave, also snake their way outside Blue Lagoon; twisting, turning and spiralling, then re-entering into a catch area. The fourth flume, The Torpedo, is entirely within Blue Lagoon, but it’s fast, steep and as a more advanced flume, probably isn’t for the faint-hearted!s
