The Barry War Museum is maintained by the Barry At War Group as part of The Barry Train and is located within the old railway station on Barry Island. The Barry at War Group, made up entirely of volunteers, aims to investigate, preserve, and publicise the town’s and surrounding area’s wartime history.
A WW1 trench to replicate life on the Western Front, a genuine WW2 Anderson shelter, a 1940s style kitchen, and many more artefacts and exhibitions can be found at the Barry War Museum.
