Anglesey Sea Zoo is dedicated to offering a pleasant and informative experience for guests. At Wales’ largest and greatest aquarium, you can see magnificent British aquatic life. Walk the Shark Pool grids and enter the shipwreck teeming with Conger Eels! They guarantee a Splashing day out with daily interactive lectures, an award-winning cafe, Anglesey’s best gift shop, Captain Jake’s crazy golf, the pirate’s playground, and a gigantic octojump bouncy castle.
Anglesey Sea Zoo features about 40 tanks filled with fascinating marine creatures that may be found in our very own British waters! On your trip through the aquarium, have a peek at what you could find in the various chambers. The Pier Tank, with huge flatfish camouflaging themselves against the bottom and fast grey mullet zipping about, illustrates what’s lurking beneath piers and harbours in their Front Room. Keep a lookout for the cuckoo wrasse, which is brightly coloured.
The Atlantic wolffish lives in the cold-water tank, peeping out from behind the rocks at passers-by — despite their grumpy appearance and huge teeth, they are actually rather gentle creatures. Adult spiny lobsters live in the huge open tank; read about their life cycle and breeding effort!
