Inside the castle walls you will explore over 300 years of history told through stunning displays, artefacts, art, and audio-visuals. Learn how the Regiment won 14 Victoria Crosses and hear the words of some of the most famous writers and poets who served with the Royal Welch Fusiliers including Siegfried Sassoon, Robert Graves, ‘Hedd Wyn’, David Jones, and Frank Richards. Discover what life was like for the ordinary solider and his family, uncover some of the unique traditions of the Regiment, and see where the past meets the present with today’s Royal Welsh.
