A new live music show on the Aran Islands in the marquee at the famous Joe Watty’s Pub featuring storytelling, sean-nós and original Folk and Contemporary songs, in English and Irish, from Aran Islands artist Padraig Jack.
Having toured and recorded with some of Irish music’s most notable artists such as Sharon Shannon, Damien Dempsey and Foster and Allen, native, bilingual Aran Islands singer/songwriter, Padraig Jack presents a live music show featuring songs in Gaelic and English.
The show, named after his album which was named RTÉ Radio Album of the Week upon its release, will feature storytelling and music ranging from sean-nós to contemporary folk as Padraig will explore what it is about the Aran Islands and the Irish language that has inspired and influenced his music.
